  4. Claude-maker Anthropic opens its second APAC office in Bengaluru, focusing on Indic languages, AI for education, and agriculture tech. India’s fast emerging as a strategic AI powerhouse, not just a talent hub.

  5. Spotting AI Fakes with Hany Farid:Digital forensics expert Hany Farid shared four quick cues to spot AI fakes — like inconsistent lighting and surreal details — in his new TED Talk. His message: pause before you share; tech can still serve truth. See Here

  6. Instagram introduces Rings, a creative award honoring creators who break molds and take risks. The message is clear — in 2025, creativity beats virality in the algorithm game. Read Here

  7. Europe’s AI Power Boom:AI’s explosive growth is driving Europe’s biggest surge in data center and green energy investments. Governments and tech giants are racing to secure sustainable power for next-gen AI model training.

  8. Musk vs. OpenAI Intensifies: Elon Musk’s lawsuit against OpenAI escalates — the court orders ex-CTO Mira Murati to testify over alleged safety oversights. The drama signals deeper cracks in Silicon Valley’s AI race.

  9. VC giant Andreessen Horowitz brings on ex-VMware CEO Raghu Raghuram as general partner to drive its AI infrastructure investments — a strong signal toward scaling AI’s hardware backbone.

  10. Filmmaker James Cameron warns that AI’s pace could soon make human film crews obsolete. He predicts full-length, AI-made movies are coming faster than Hollywood is ready for.

Jeff Bezos on the “Industrial Bubble

Jeff Bezos broke his silence on AI hype, calling it an industrial bubble — not a financial one.

The bubble isn’t bad — it’s scaffolding for the next industrial revolution

OpenAI DevDay: The Platform is the Product

OpenAI’s DevDay 2025 just wrapped, and the message was clear: ChatGPT is no longer just a product; it’s a full-blown platform and app ecosystem. This is their biggest strategic shift yet.

Open AI

1. Apps in ChatGPT This is the main event. OpenAI launched an Apps SDK so developers can build and embed full, interactive applications directly inside ChatGPT. Forget switching tabs; the tools are coming to the chat.

  • Early Partners: A-list launch partners are already on board, including Canva, Spotify, Booking.com, Expedia, Coursera, Figma, and Zillow.

  • The Vision: You’ll soon be able to browse and install apps from a dedicated store, with monetization on the way. The goal is to make ChatGPT the central hub for getting things done.

2. AgentKit: The Pro Toolkit for Building AI Agents OpenAI is making it radically easier to build and deploy powerful agents with AgentKit, a full suite of tools for developers.

  • Agent Builder: A visual, drag-and-drop editor to design complex agent workflows.

  • ChatKit: Ready-made, customizable chat interface widgets for your agents.

  • Evals: A framework to test, score, and improve your agent's performance.

  • Connectors: Easily connect your agents to pull live data from apps, websites, or databases.

3. GPT-5 Codex is Now Generally Available The next generation of AI-powered coding is here. GPT-5 Codex is now available to everyone, with new features for enterprise.

  • Integrations: Comes with a native Slack integration and a Codex SDK for embedding it in your own tools.

  • The Proof: OpenAI engineers report completing 70% more pull requests each week using the new Codex internally.

4. Prompt Packs for Every Profession To get everyone up to speed, OpenAI also launched "Prompt Packs"—structured, ready-to-use prompts for every role imaginable, from Sa les and Marketing to Government and HR. You can find them at the OpenAI Academy.

The Ultimate Prompt Corner: The Real Roadmap to Building your First AI Agent.

Pick ONE specific problem (e.g., sorting emails, scraping a job board).

Choose a base LLM (GPT-4, Claude, Gemini).

Define how it interacts (APIs for email, web scraping, etc.).

Build the core loop: model tool result repeat.

Add memory carefully. Start simple, then scale.

Wrap it in a usable interface (start with a command line, then a dashboard or bot).

Iterate fast. Small fixes beat big redesigns.

Keep scope TIGHT. One reliable agent is better than a broken "universal" one.

The AI world’s not slowing — it’s stacking. From platforms to agents, from prompts to power plays, the frontier keeps expanding sideways, not just up.

The real question isn’t who leads AI. It’s who stays human enough to use it well.

AI isn’t replacing creativity — it’s rewarding the ones who can think like machines, but feel like artists.

Cahn’s POV

Persuasive Pen:

Google responded with Opal, a text-to-app tool that turns natural language into working mini-apps — no coding, no setup. Just describe what you want, and it builds it in minutes. Cahn Studios simplified it and here is Step-by-Step Guide to Google's Opal.

Pair that with ChatGPT’s new embedded apps (booking, Figma, Coursera, Zillow, Canva), and the platform wars are officially on.

  • Step 1: Describe Your Idea. Be specific about what you want your mini-app to do.

  • Step 2: View and Refine. Opal visualizes your logic as a workflow. You can manually tweak steps or add new ones.

  • Step 3: Share & Use. Once it's ready, you get a shareable link to your new app.

If OpenAI is the iPhone moment for AI, Google’s Opal might be Android — fast, flexible, and built for the masses.

What’s the Tea☕️

  • AI Solves the Doctor Shortage? Akido Labs is using its ScopeAI system to let medical assistants conduct patient visits, with an AI generating diagnoses and treatment plans for a doctor to review later. This allows doctors to see 4-5 times more patients.

  • The AI Dictator? A viral thought experiment this week asked: what if the next dictator isn't a person, but an AI system enforcing laws and monitoring society without empathy?

  • OpenAI filed a complaint to Europe’s antitrust chief, claiming it’s struggling to compete with “locked-in ecosystems” from Google and Amazon. That’s ironic, given ChatGPT’s dominance — but Altman admits Google’s momentum is real. “They’re doing incredible work right now,” he told Stratechery.

  • SoftBank’s PayPay buys a 40% stake in Binance Japan, deepening Japan’s fintech–crypto ties.

  • Tesla’s Full Self-Driving under federal probe after 58 reports of red-light violations.

Cahn’s POV: From courtrooms to code, AI’s reach keeps redrawing the map — and no one’s immune.
